Description openusr 2008-01-28 03:02:34 UTC
Version: 4.00.00 (using KDE 4.0.0)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc 4.1.2
OS: Linux

Konqueror crashes after dragging an "In new window"-link (with <a ... target=top> in html-source) and dropping it at some place inside the window. In case of "odrinary" links the mouse pointer shows a prohibition-sign when you try to drop it at a place where it makes no sense to, but it seems that this check fails on this special kind of links.

Reproduction example:

1. Go to benutzerverwaltung.uni-duisburg-essen.de/portal/
2. Click-and-drag the image at the top (with the text "Zentrum..."). Note: the cursor sign is an "Add"-sign (with a plus on it)
3. Drop it somwhere inside the window (e.g. in some white space)

For me, that causes Konqueror to crash immediately.

It works fine here in KDE > 4.1 beta 1 (SVN trunk rev 817151). Can you confirm if it's still happening to you in any recent version of KDE 4? Can you provide a crash report please?

Works fine here with KDE4.1 from Kubuntu packages.
