Description Frans Leerink 2007-12-27 01:46:36 UTC
Version: 3.5.6 (using KDE 3.5.6 "release 85.1" , openSUSE )
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18.8-0.7-default

Hello,

I listen very regular to music from the following URL:

     http://magnatune.com/artists/albums/juergenson-badsun/hifi_play

and now Konqueror crasher by opening the URL. Can this be due to a recent openSUSE update? I am openSUSE 10.2 and regular apply the openSUSE Updater proposals. I will attach the crash file.

Just for info this happens only in Konqueror, I can still play it with Firefox.

Regards, Frans

Just tried on KDE 3.5.8. It works perfectly.... btw Chris Juergensen play very good on my headphone :-)

Please, try to update your KDE version and reload the page. Probably this could solve your problem.

Thanks!

Crash file after upgrading to KDE 3.5.8

This is still on openSUSE 10.2
Comment 4 Frans Leerink 2007-12-27 18:21:47 UTC
Hello FiNeX,

You liked the music?
I have KDE updated to 3.5.8 release 22.3 and reloaded the page but unfortunately the problem still exists. I have added the resulting
crash file. This is still on openSUSE 10.2

Regards, Frans

The crash is in flash --- you need to grab updated packages for it to work (assuming they've been released, but a guy working for SuSE fixed it, so I'd guess they've put out an update).

Just tried the site and it works properly (and the music is played)
Here using:

Qt: 4.5.1 (qt-copy 958974)
KDE: 4.2.86 (KDE 4.2.86 (KDE 4.3 >= 20090514))
kdelibs svn rev. 969788 / kdebase svn rev. 969788
flashplugin 10.0.22.87
on ArchLinux i686 - Kernel 2.6.29.3

Can anyone else confirm this ? Thanks
Comment 8 FiNeX 2009-08-31 13:42:49 UTC
And it still works in current trunk
Comment 9 Frans Leerink 2009-08-31 23:04:20 UTC
Hello,

In the meantime I have moved to openSUSE 11.0 (i586)
KDE: 3.5.9 "release 49.1" and I can report that works now oke for me.
