Since kde3 there was a regression that causes the menu on the webpage http://jabber.rwth-aachen.de to be displayed too much on the left. Just compare kde3 and kde4-konqueror. On kde4 you do not see the "Start".

Confirmed. In kde 4 you can't see "Start". In KDE 3 you can.

Cannot reproduce this with either one of the browser engines (khtml or webkit) in KDE 4.7 or higher. Feel free to reopen this ticket if that is not the case for you.
