Can you please tell us more information about the situation which produced this error? Which webpage is causing this crash? Is it still happening to you in any recent version of KDE? We won't fix KDE 3.5 anymore, so please test with KDE 4.0.5 or KDE 4.1 when it's out.
Comment 2 luigi 2008-06-05 23:51:22 UTC
excuse me but I not remember the details, is passed too much time, I can say that it was kubuntu 6,06, (installed with to the desktop gnome), I not remember if it has still happened, but some small problem it has been, now I have installed ubuntu with desktop gnome, kubuntu 8,04 and kde 4,0 on the same PC, but use more often the old one kde, has till now not given problems, I think that kde 4,0 is too much new in order not to have problems.

If they give problems to me and it is opened te bug warning I send the signalling, I must send it also to this address email? (sincerely I admire a lot kde and task that is an optimal product, but an answer after months cannot be much efficient for the customer, so I can advise you to this email directly so you can see the problem quickly and I can say you the more information, if this is possible).

bye, sorry for my imperfect english

Luigi I know an answer after half a year is quite suboptimal, but beware that for example I work on KDE as a hobby i.e. you're not a customer, but an user of this software =).
I think I will mark this bug as WORKSFORME as we can't get enough details about the error so that we can reproduce it, and probably the bug has disappeared in KDE 4 because Konqueror code has changed quite a lot since KDE 3. If by any chance you get the error again in any recent KDE 4 version (KDE 4.0.5 or KDE 4.1 when it's out), please reopen the bug.
Thanks for your help!
Comment 4 luigi 2008-06-08 11:54:53 UTC
dear Eduardo,

I admire a lot that you work on kde for hobby (I would like dedicate to contribute in the development of free software, but I do not have all the advanced competences in computer science to develop i.e konqueror, but since I am electronic engineer I would want to widen my acquaintances of development for desktop software to contribute.
If I knew to make this I proposed my solution to the signalling of the bug :-), I think that a soon time I will have more time to make it), therefore an answer after half a year is very well, in comparison to mine not ability to make it alone, only that it is impossible to remember the details, and the minimal contribution from me was exactly to signal the bug,

thinking well to us I remember to have tried dreamlinux from the live cd, and from which I regulated the volume while I tried a player, after that I reboot linux with ubuntu installed, on gnome did not give problems to me, but on kde I remember that there was nothig from the state bar, and I memory that pheraps the panel of regulation of the volume was open, as if from the live cd I had influenced the kde session, therefore not being able to interact with the system, and for being sure not to want to leave eventual changes not visible I installed of new kubuntu-desktop from apt-get from gnome, but it remained equal, also after the new insallation it is as if it had memory of the last history, therefore it did not remain that to add the applet from the state bar, then executing firefox and konqueror they went in crash, and firefox from then goes in crash more often, also under gnome. I not memory a lot more, above all the opened page web, if return in my mind other I make to know you.

thanks to you of your availability and patience in trying to understand English with a lot of errors, as soon as ther is a new bug I marks this problem, sincerely I am using kde to 4,0 least, I will try to use it more thus the bug exit outside before, now I use kubuntu 8,04 (or 6.06) both with kde 3.5 or ubuntu with gnome.

thanks to you for your help
