Description Jason Rickabaugh 2007-09-20 09:03:03 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from: Unspecified

New features please.

Feature #1:
Create the ability to run multiple instances of yakuake. Each instance would have the capability to run an a different screen on a multiple monitor system. Each instance would have a separate configurable access key.

Feature #2:
The ability to assign several access keys. Each key would make the singles instance appear on a screen predefined for that key. IE program <F1>, <F2>, <F3>, <F4> as access keys. Pressing <f1> would make yakuyake reappear on screen 1, <f2> would make yakuyake reappear on screen 2....

You can start multiple instances of Yakuake with 'yakuake --nofork', and get them to use a different config file than the default one with 'yakuake --config <filespec>'. Both combined will let you run multiple instances with different config files, and thus different access shortcuts and Xinerama screens.
