Description Stephan Fabel 2007-09-18 10:07:57 UTC
Version: 1.4.7 (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

My Samsung YH-820 Media Player is connected using the MTP plugin. It will connect at first, but fail to transfer more than one file in the queue. The file indicated to have been transferred is transferred correctly (I've listened to it to make sure). I can continue transferring files one at a time until a point is reached where amaroK will crash and subsequent tries using another instance of amaroK don't work. In fact, the device vanishes from my desktop completely, and I have to re-plug it into my computer.

If it helps, this device is wrongly identified as a camera; my KDE does not give me the option, as with other media players, to open it with amaroK, and also does not enable me to see the contents of the player using konqueror (or digiKam, for that matter).
