Description Maciej Pilichowski 2007-08-26 10:38:39 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)

Typical scenario -- restoring Konqueror with 10 tabs. Before KNM establishes connection I have 10 tabs with errors.

It would be really great, if KDM could synchronize restoring with KNM -- so first KNM connects to the net (if it was running when saving session), then Konqueror is restored.

PS. Or quite another approach -- if "save session" could mean (for Konqueror?) "make snapshot", so on restore the pages would not be loaded from the net, but from the cache (in this case, regardless of what user set).

this doesn't have anything to do with kdm or even the session manager.
off-line handling should be handled by the application, probably with the help of Solid or something like that.

As ossi says this could be implemented if we Solidify konqueror, which would be a great idea.
