Version: 1.4.5 (using KDE KDE 3.5.6) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux What Happened: I loaded an album via the "Collection". I sorted the songs by "Title" in the main playlist. I then clicked on "Playlists" I right clicked "Dynamic Playlists" -> "Suggested Songs" and selected "Load". If I try to listen through the songs, it has problems because as it adds new songs, they are added alphabetically by title and may appear before the current song in the list. What I expected: When I right clicked "Dynamic Playlists" -> "Suggested Songs" and selected "Load" I expected the sorting to be turned off so that the dynamic playlist would work correctly. This is what happens if I choose "Append" or "Load" from the "Collection" tab. Ciao!
I can confirm this problem. Workaround is to clear the plalist prior to loading any dynamic playlist.
Forgot to say... I'm using 1.4.7 with KDE 3.5.7 on a gentoo system
I can confirm this in 1.4.9.1. But Amarok 1.4.x is in bugfix-only mode as development is focused on Amarok 2. Unfortunately your bug will very likely not get fixed, as the risk of regressions is too high and the Amarok developers do not have the resources for it. Thank you for your report though. Please don't hesitate to report new bugs should you have any problems with Amarok 2 once it is released.
