Description shattered 2007-07-22 15:34:19 UTC
Version: 1.4.6 (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: NetBSD pkgsrc
OS: NetBSD

I have a smart playlist with conditions like 'not played in last 2 months'; thus, its contents change every day and from time to time I synchronize it to iPod. After several syncs, iPod displays corrupted or wrong album covers for some tracks. Corrupted -- half of image is correct, another half is from another image, and so on.

iPod is a 2nd gen Nano, libgpod 0.4.2.

Still happens in 1.4.9.1, libgpod 0.6.0

Alejandro can you please comment on the status of this in Amarok 2?
Comment 3 Alejandro Wainzinger 2008-08-06 01:34:44 UTC
In Amarok 2 "smart playlists" have been superceded by "dynamic playlists." Copying album covers to iPod in A2 is right now in early support, but try back at next Amarok release with dynamic playlists.

This is a 1.4 bug, the synchronizing is a feature already planned for later in the 2.x series, and the covers issue is close to a dupe of bug 173267 for 2.x.
