Description S. Burmeister 2007-07-19 20:59:33 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
OS: Linux

Open two websites. Go to the first tab, search once for some word that exists multiple times on that first page. Leave the search dialogue open and switch to the second tab. Search again until the box "the word has beend found x times" pops up. The "x times" refers to the inactive tab and not the active one.

Expected behaviour: The search-box should always apply to the active tab without having to re-open it.

Confirmed in 3.5.9, seems to be fixed in trunk (r807699), although the behaviour is a bit different.
Comment 2 Dawit Alemayehu 2012-01-04 17:01:33 UTC
KDE 3 is no longer maintained and the search dialog in KDE 4 is per tab so this issue does not apply.
