Description Sebastien 2007-06-04 10:14:24 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Go to this URL :

http://www.apple.com/iphone/ads/ad1/

The video starts playing and then it is removed and replaced by the message "Download QuickTime to view the video."

I suppose Konqueror supports QuickTime (through Kaffeine or KMPlayer) but Apple is using a Javascript method to ask the browser if it supports QuickTime and the browser reply "false" instead of "true".

I have KUbuntu Feisty with Win32 codecs.

Message from the Bugsquad and Konqueror teams: This bug is closed as outdated, as we do not have the manpower to maintain the KDE3 version anymore. If you still can reproduce this issue with Konqueror 4.8.4 or later, please open a new report. Thank you for your understanding.
