Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.7) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages Hi, At least in Konqueror 3.5.7, mouseover events happen to elements that are outside the Konqueror window. This causes some funny effects with some pages. To reproduce: 1. Surf to http://www.hut.fi/~sliedes/konq-mouseover.html 2. If your Konqueror window is maximized unmaximize it. Move it to the up left corner of the screen. 3. Set window width to such that each of the lines (of 6 links) fits on a line of its own (larger is ok) and height to such that the entire page does not fit. 4. Move the mouse pointer over some link. 5. Move the mouse pointer over the dashes. 6. Now you should see that each link sets the status bar message to "Mouse over link %d", where %d is some unique number. 7. Move the mouse down from the browser window so that it is horizontally on one of the columns with links, but down from the browser window. 8. Scroll the Konqueror page up or down with arrow keys. Notice how the statusbar text changes to "http://www.google.com/" indicating Konqueror thinks your pointer is over a link. 9. Move the mouse pointer horizontally over the dashes. 10. Scroll up/down with arrow keys. Notice how statusbar indicates there was a mouseover event from one of the links further down the page.
i cant reproduce in trunk r869427
Unable to reproduce it also with konqueror 4.1.69 from opensuse. I wish all the bug reports where as detailed as this.
