Description Steve Rawley 2007-05-04 02:06:58 UTC
Version: Akregator: 1.2.2 (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: gcc 4.1.0
OS: Linux

I have just started using aKregator on a x86_64 SLES 10 install. I was able to add three feeds, but after that it just crashes with SEGV every time.

I do this via the menu pick Feed>Add feed..., then enter the URL, click OK, and wait a few seconds until I invariably get a KDE Crash Handler. Here's the backtrace:

System configuration startup check disabled.

Comment 1 Frank Osterfeld 2007-05-04 03:37:59 UTC
That looks like a scim/Qt-bug, maybe caused by using the 64bit version. Do you use any non-standard input method or language where scim is used for input? (like japanese or chinese).
Comment 2 Steve Rawley 2007-05-05 00:16:32 UTC
I'm not sure what you mean by "non-standard input method". I'm typing (or Ctrl-V pasting) an URL into the input box. Everything is English.
Comment 3 Frank Osterfeld 2008-10-27 20:54:16 UTC
Obsolete, please reopen if it still happens in KDE4.
