Version: 1.4.5 (using KDE 3.5.6, Kubuntu (feisty) 4:3.5.6-0ubuntu14) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.20-15-386 Even though files have been played previously, they still appear in the "Never Played" playlist. Using right-click / Edit track information, the summary tab shows a play count greater than zero. The files in question appear to be semi-random. I played all tracks from an album, but only some of them (about half) reappeared in the list. Expected behavior is that none of them should appear. I don't know if it is relevant, but the files in question are all stored on a removable media (An Archos Jukebox Recorder - a combined USB hard drive and MP3 player) I have not (yet) been able to determine a reproduction mechanism.
I have the same problem. I recently played a whole album and it still appears in my "Never played" playlist. Even better : I added a whole new album to my library and it does *not* show up in "Never played". All these files are LOCAL. I am going to install an sqlite browser and inspect the database I think ...
I am sorry but this will not get fixed in Amarok 1.4 as we are focused on Amarok 2 now. Thank you for your report.
