Description Jonathan 2007-04-22 12:39:48 UTC
Version: 1.4.4 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Debian stable Packages
OS: Linux

Collection scan fails with all files having é, è, â, .. (international characters) in their name. Bugs(resolved) related to this exist, but this seems to be a new issue with 1.4.4 .

I doubt that, since it actually works for me.

Please try with 1.4.6. Also you might want to compile from source with --enable-debug=full and watch the output of amarokcollectionscanner (CLI application).

Another source for information is ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok/collection_scan.files

This appears to be fixed in amarok 2.0 svn trunk r820677.

Closing as fixed in 2.0
