Version: 0.12.3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: (default-linux/x86/2006.1/desktop, gcc-4.1.1, glibc-2.5-r0, 2.6.20-gentoo_port4 i686) OS: Linux first i want to say that my settings are corect because linpopup works and of course i change the line in smb.conf to switch from lipopup to kopete i tried 2 bugreports but it didn't work: -the one where it says that it require the folowing in smb.conf domain master = yes; prefered master = yes; oslevel = 65; it didn't work -the one with the script /bin/smbclient #!/bin/bash exec /usr/bin/smbclient "$@" 2>&1 what is the bug about: -the icon of winpopup doesn't go online -it can only find one windows xp computer...the rest of the computer that can be found with konqueror and that can be reached with linpopup aren't detected -it can't talk or recive messsage from any of the computers including the windows xp one but linpopup can...

Since 2007 there has been commited more patches to Kopete, so propably it is fixed.
