Description Matt Brothen 2007-04-05 19:05:47 UTC
Version: 1.4.5 (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

Ubuntu 7.04 Beta
Amarok 1.4.5
KDE 3.5.6
MP3 Player Sansa c240

All Ubuntu repository packages.

Collection is on a portable hard drive mounted at /media/disk. It is not being handled by amarok's device manager and is instead treated as a normal hard drive.

MP3 player is mounted at /media/disk-1 and uses amarok's generic audio player plugin to manage.

When attempting to send files from the collection contained on /media/disk to MP3 player /media/disk-1 amarok reports that the files are already contained on the media device.

Device has been reformatted multiple times to make sure no such files are on the device but files still refuse to transfer.

Mounting at different points such as /media/Sansa yields the same results.

Devices not being implemented yet in Amarok 2.0 alpha 2, feel free to reopen this bug if it reappears once the feature available.
