Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.6) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: gcc (GCC) 4.1.1 (Gentoo 4.1.1-r3) OS: Linux By default, Ctrl-F is assigned to two actions - find text in a webpage, and find files. It usually works fine: "Find..." is only used in web browsing mode, while "Find File..." is only used in file browsing. But, Konqueror complains if you try to make any changes to those actions: e.g., add a second shortcut to "Find...", and asks if I would like to reassign "Ctrl-F". So, it is impossible to have "Ctrl-F" and another key as shortcuts for "Find...", and "Ctrl-F" as a shortcut for "Find File...".
The bug has been fixed in KDE 4. It won't be fixed in KDE 3 which is unmantained.
