Description Hasso Tepper 2007-02-17 22:24:09 UTC
Version: 3.5.6 (using KDE 3.5.6, compiled sources)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18.6

I extracted testcase to the http://hasso.linux.ee/stuff/khtml-test-2.html. If you click on the link, window appears, but no image. Brief test with html code used in 'document.write' calls showed that there shouldn't be problem with html itself.

While creating testcase I also noticed that in Firefox testcase works without problem even if there is no khtml-test-2-sub.html file in the server. In Konqueror I get "The requested URL /stuff/khtml-test-2-sub.html was not found on this server." error message in this case.

Assigning to khtml ecma component as this is some open/write/close problem rather than a problem with the JS engine itself.

Unfortunately the testcase is no longer available. If you still have it, could you please reupload it somewhere or attach it to the report?

Testcase is still there, just web was temporarily unavailable when you tried. It's all available again.

Message from the Bugsquad and Konqueror teams:
This bug is closed as outdated, as we do not have the manpower to maintain the KDE3 version anymore.
If you still can reproduce this issue with Konqueror 4.8.4 or later, please open a new report.
Thank you for your understanding.
