Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux The image handling of Konqueror is severly broken in all the Kubuntu boxen I've worked with. I do not know if it is a Kubuntu bug or a KDE bug, but speaking with a SUSE user led me to beleive that he experiences problems of a similar sort. 1) In "Image View" clicking a picture moves the scroll to the bottom. 2) In "Picture View" the thumbnails are not resizable. 3) In all views, navigating the icons with the arrow keys sometimes skips certain icons. This is especially reproducable after having deleted several files from the directory. 4) When in Icon view and clicking on a photo, the photo opens in a view mode optimized for images (forgot what it is called). However, clicking the Up button returns to the parent folder, which is now in Text View. If the user wants to return to the parent folder and have it in Icon view like it was, then he must use Back instead of Up. Note that Icon veiw is set up to be the default.
I can confirm that this bug is present in Fedora Core 6 as well.
Testing 4.1.60 #1,3,4 all work #2 seems like an odd thing to want: individually resizing icon by icon? You can change what your default icon size is, perhaps that is what you actually meant? Otherwise, i think that's a wontfix. But come up with a good use case, and I'll reopen this.
Testing in Konqueror 3.5.9 on Kubuntu 8.04: 1) Fixed 2) There is no longer a Picture View! 3) Still broken. However, this is broken for all file types, not just pictures. 4) Still broken. > #2 seems like an odd thing to want: individually resizing > icon by icon? You can change what your default icon size is, > perhaps that is what you actually meant? Konqueror has zoom in/out buttons for resizing the icons. This does not work in Picture View. It works in Icon View. I did not mention individual icons, I am sorry that is how it was interpreted. I will test #3 and #4 in KDE 4 Dolphin and Konqueror and open individual bugs for each issue if necessary.
