Version: 1.2.5 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux I'm using Akregator 1.2.4 on Fedora Core 6, having just upgraded from some unknown version on Fedora Core 4. Use case #1: when reading feeds with large number of new/unread articles, I like to scan the summaries for interesting articles. When an interesting one comes along, I hit Ctl-U to mark it unread, so I can come back to it later on for reference. Use case #2: When reading an article, or a link from an article, I realize that this is something I need to save for future reference, or want to come back to later because it can't be finished right now. So I hit Ctl-U to mark it Unread, so it will still be around later on. Use case #3: Same as Use Case #2, only I keep reading after hitting Ctl-U. Problem: With this latest version of Akregator, the article reverts to Read status immediately after hitting Ctl-U. I can adjust the "mark as read" timeout, but that throttles the ability to skim through the summaries in Use case #1 (you need to wait until the timeout expires before proceeding to the next article), and completely breaks Use case #3. Request: Please restore the previous behavior, where the "mark as read" timer was started only when the article is first displayed.
Seems fixed since 4.1.x.
