Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.6) Installed from: Compiled From Sources Compiler: gcc version 4.1.1 (Gentoo 4.1.1-r3) OS: Linux If the page specifies a background image in the BODY tag, like this: <BODY BACKGROUND="images/bgnd.png"> the "Location - Save Background Image As..." menu item is enabled and works. But if the background is specified via CSS: BODY { background-image:url(images/bgnd.png); } the same menu item is disabled and the option is not available. The page is displayed identically and correctly in both cases.
I didn't set this to NEW either. Is this a Bugzilla problem? - seems to be that if I (with bug updating privs) create a new bug, it is submitted as NEW instead of UNCONFIRMED.
Yeah, that's how it works. I guess the idea is that if you have privs to set a bug as NEW, you'll do it anyway, so the system might as well save you the trouble :-). (More charitably, you could say that people with bug editing privs know enough to carefully test a bug before reporting it...)
I can reproduce in KDE 3.5.6.
Created attachment 20130 [details] Patch to get background image from CSS Patch attached to fix, although not in all cases (e.g. where the background image is specified for an inner element instead of the BODY). Could a KHTML expert look over it?
Changed severity to WISH.
