Version: 1.4.4 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages When creating playlists with commas in the name field (say a smart playlist) and then creating a dynamic playlist and adding the 'comma containing' playlists, amarok does not remember the choice on next start. This is due to the xml file dynamicbrowser_save.xml: <items>Playlists/Untitled,Smart Playlists/Alternative, Rock, Blues and Jazz,</items> As you can see here my smart playlist is named: "Alternative, Rock, Blues and Jazz", but unfortunately amarok uses a comma to separate multiple entries. This is bad, very bad. There should be multiple <items> tags instead. Regards, Florian
comment from KDE bugsquad member I can still reproduce this bug in 1.4.9.1. Amarok2 trunk r820602 doesn't have dynamic playlists yet so I can't confirm yet.
Please someone check this with Amarok 2.
Dynamic playlist code is totally different in A2. No need to keep this open.
