Description Zbigniew Luszpinski 2007-01-24 12:26:00 UTC
Version: 3.5.5 (using KDE 3.5.5, compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.6
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.19.2

http://www.asus.com.tw/index.aspx

On the left side above "Products Comparison" there is white square box over flash animation. If you grab any other window and move it over this box a graphics soup made from moved window debris will fill in the white box. In this white box a combobox "Select Country/Area" should be displayed. (If you click inside this box a invisible combobox will happen to be visible)

I have Shockwave Flash 9.0 r31 but I have seen this behaviour with older versions too. Firefox/Seamonkey (every release including recent) does not have this problem because of bug which causes FF/SM to display flash content always on top of everything. That is why this combo is not visible/not accessible at all in FF/SM.

When there is no flash plugin, a combobox "Select Country/Area" is misplaced.

I would like to thank konqueror team for fixing 'flash content plugin always visible on top' bug. Thanks to this fix I can at least access this combobox (what is not possible in FF/SM at all).

Adobe is going to support XEmbed.
Can this bug be fixed by using XEmbed in konqueror?

This bug is still reproducible in 3.5.9. On trunk (around r798768) people reported different results. While it seemed to work at first the problem reappeared after the flash animation changed to a different one on reload. Maximizing the window seems to resolve the problem after it appeared.

If you can reproduce with current KDE (>= 4.6.3), please reopen including a description what you did.
