Description Maciej Pilichowski 2007-01-18 09:21:50 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

I noticed odd animation when I try to go for example to www.google.com, page does not matter. Let's say there is no connection or connection is maxed, so Konqueror cannot connect to this page.

The error is shown as a web page. However if now, connection can be made, I press refresh, gear-logo starts animation, but as soon as the connection is established the animation stops. And the whole page is now loaded with gear frozen.
Very misguiding, because it looks (loading can be time consuming) that there is an error again (page didn't change, the gear stopped...).

Cannot reproduce using KDE 4. Do you confirm it Maciej?

I rephrase to make this clear.

when user types in the URL and hits enter
..............page is loading............... <-- (*)
page is fully loaded or there is an error

(*) here, the gear should spin all the time. It is easier to reproduce when you normally connect to any site, gear spins, then stops, then spins again.

can not reproduce with 4.6.3
