Version: (using KDE Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources Hate to have to reopen a bug from 2001 (#24282), but... if I disable "Print header", I sometimes get lines split between 2 pages. Looked in the code, but I can't seem to why it does this.
Actually, it happens regardless of whether there's a header... One in every hundred pages or so, I think.
I'm sorry, but frankly I don't quite understand by lines getting split. Are you referring to lines being expanded so you need 2 pages aligned horizontally to print them? If possible, please provide a little more information, including the version of konqueror you are using.
I mean half of a line of text is printed on page X, and the bottom half is on page X+1
Thanks for replying so fast Luke. When printing the same document twice, does this bug appear on the same lines? If so, do you have a page I could use to try to reproduce this bug? Which version of konqueror are you using?
Yeah, it's the same output no matter how many times it's repeated. Seeing as I reported this a year ago nor do I see it on a regular basis, I can't say I recall any such pages.
It happens to me in kde4 trunk r813735 printing the page http://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/tools/16106.html as pdf (see the attached pdf). This page, not the printer friendly version. You can see only half of the last line in the first page (althought the lower part is not in the second page).
Created attachment 25105 [details] the resulting impresion with only alf of a line in the first page.
