Description Charles A. Landemaine 2007-01-10 20:26:13 UTC
Version: 3.5.5 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: FreeBSD Ports
OS: FreeBSD

When you move a file to a FAT32 partition, PC-BSD tells you it can't change file permissions (because the file system doesn't support it).

It would be nice to have an option to prevent from displaying this alert such as "Don't display anymore", because it's annoying when you always move files back and forth and you always get this alert popping up.

People are having an alert message that they can't do anything about. It's annoying. And most of the time they don't care about file permission. They just want it to work without bothering them.
