Description Rick Wagner 2007-01-09 23:09:26 UTC
Version: 1.4-SVN (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

In the collection browser, I do a RMB->Edit Track Information on a track with no tags. I fill in the tag information (title, album, ...). If I do this for several tracks on differant albums, the later tracks will list the album of a previous track under the correct artist. Looking at the tags, all the fields including album are correct, but the album name in collection tree is wrong.

Example:
I have the collection browser set to "Entire Collection" and sorted on "Artist/Album".

I had two tracks, both under their respective artists (determined by file naming). The first one "The Cure: Young Americans", the second "Creed: Riders on the Storm".

I edit the track information on the first one, using "Fill-In Tags From MusicBrainz". MusicBrainz fills in the tags, including the album "Rarities". I save the changes, and the collection browser is updated.

I the edit the second one, again using MusicBrainz, in this case the album is filled in as "Stoned Immaculate: The Music of The Doors". I save the changes. This second still shows under Creed (correct), but the album is listed as "Rarities" (wrong). Looking at the tags, the album tag is correct ("Stoned...").

Doing a Tools->Rescan Collection will cause the correct album name to be shown under the artist.

I am using MySQL database; have "Watch Folders for Changes" enabled.

I can't confirm that using 1.4.9.1 but I'm using SQLite. I'll need someone with MySQL to recheck this.
