Description Tim Holmes 2007-01-03 21:52:48 UTC
Version: 0.12.2 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: GCC4 - i think (Up to date Gentoo 2006.1
OS: Linux

When I am trying to use the IRC module of kopete, the sounds in the advanced notification section do not appear to work correctly. I set an advanced notification for a channel that i want to have play a sound when a message arrives (as far as i know IRC Messages are marked as low priority). The messages arrive, but the sounds do not play. There is no error message etc. The exact same sounds will play correctly if i use them through knotify on a global scale (for all of kopete) but do not appear to work right in the advanced notification area.

I have done some additional testing, and it appears that the disable standard notifications section of the advanced Notifications does not work either. I had thought to enable a standard (global) notification, then quiet it by disabling the standard notifications
