Version: 1.4.4 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: gcc version 3.4.6 (Gentoo 3.4.6-r2, ssp-3.4.6-1.0, pie-8.7.9) x86_64 arch OS: Linux Mood feature enabled. When amaroK generates .mood files for files newly added to playlist it detects collection change (probably since these files are stored in the collection directories) and starts rescanning the whole collection. While doing that it randomly produces message saying that it cannot process a file (appearing to be one of the newly added .mood files). This is quite uncomfortable if it rescans whole collection once after once. If amarok detects change in collection directories it should check wether type of the file is a .mood file. If it is it should do nothing, otherwise rescan collection as usual.
Well, this probably does not only apply to .mood files, but to every non-music file.
Amarok 1.4.x is no longer actively maintained as all the focus is on Amarok 2.0. Feel free to report any bug you come across in Amarok 2.0
