Description Manoloudis 2006-12-28 18:49:37 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

I use a Netgear DSL modem/router to access the Internet.
(BTW it runs on Linux).
I have blocked in the router a webdomain.
When I try to open web pages from that domain using ANY browser I get the "WEBSITE BLOCKED BY NETGEAR FIREWALL" as I should
However when I try to open one particular website which is unblocked using Konqueror, I also get this message.
This problems occurs only when I use Konqueror and I try to open the onje specific website (www.contra.gr)
I can open this website using Firefox 2.01 on Linux, Firefox 2.01 and Opera 9 on windows.
My guess is that I must have had a tab opened to this website when I created the blocking rule.
Clearing the history and the cache from Konqueror didn't help either.
Therefore it must be a Konqueror bug.

@Manoloudis: are you still having this issue using recent KDE versions?

No user feedback for more than a month now, so I set that to RESOLVED/REMIND. Please feel free to reopen, if someone is able to reproduce that with a recent KDE version.

Since the time I submitted that particular issue, I have upgraded kde all the way up to 4.1 and I have bought a new router.
The issue is no longer reproducible in my premise due to the reasons above.
