Description Gabriel Ambuehl 2006-12-19 21:29:53 UTC
Version: 1.2.5 (using KDE 3.5.5, Kubuntu (edgy) 4:3.5.5-0ubuntu3)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.17-10-generic

I use akregator to read a number of forums (among others). The way I have set it up is much like a new client, thread list on top and loading of the sites (not RSS contents) on the bottom pane. This works very well save for a few annoyances with a few forums that make use of Javascript. Some of them are very hard to use without the Javascript so I would ask if it were possible to add an option to allow Javascript in the bottom pane (preferably configurable on a per feed basis like it is for loading the site instead of RSS content)?

This is disabled on purpose, see bug 140306.

Javascript in the preview pane is disabled on purpose.
Javascript in the browser tabs was reenabled, in 3.5.6 iirc.
