Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4) Installed from: Compiled From Sources After a while, during transferring my whole collection to my iPod, the transfer simply stalls. This happens when the progress has reached 10%(although that easily can be tied to my files) and up until that point programs like oggdec and faac has been running at 100%. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=129060 seems similar to this. See http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=138764 for a more detailed description of my hardware.
If I completely disable transcoding, the transfer finishes as expected, so it seems to be realted to transcoding.
Yes, and an ogg album is partly transfered, so perhaps it's error handling related?

and after a while(several files have been transcoded) it stalls, and the console says: amarok: [ 95.0%] amarok: [ScriptManager] [ERROR!] transKode: amarok: [ 96.5%] amarok: [ScriptManager] [ERROR!] transKode: amarok: [ 97.5%] amarok: [ScriptManager] [ERROR!] transKode: amarok: [ 98.5%] amarok: [ScriptManager] [ERROR!] transKode: amarok: [ 99.5%] amarok: [ScriptManager] [ERROR!] transKode: amarok: [100.0%] amarok: amarok: [ThreadWeaver] Threads in pool: 2 amarok: [ThreadWeaver] Threads in pool: 2 If I after it has stalled press Transfer, nothing happens, and if I press Disconnect, followed by Finish(for finishing the "current" transfer), nothing happens. Another bug in the Media Device tab is that the Transfer button becomes enabled after a while(perhaps after a single file has been successfully transfered?). It would also be nice if the encoding could use two or more threads for the transcoding process as appropriate for the computer, since it is a quite CPU/time intensive process.

I am sorry but this will not get fixed in Amarok 1.4 as we are focused on Amarok 2 now. Thank you for your report.
