Description Stephan Sokolow 2006-11-22 03:58:29 UTC
Version: 1.2.5 (using KDE 3.5.5, Gentoo)
Compiler: Target: i686-pc-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.17-gentoo-r4-20060825

Type something in the search bar to filter your feed entries, then use Shift+Click to select multiple ones.

When you empty the search bar, it will be revealed that you've selected every entry between the two you chose, rather than just the ones that were visible while the filter was active.

This is completely counter to user expectations and could cause a loss of productivity if the user is using important flags as TODO notes (which I do) and uses the filter to delete things.

You're right, the selection is not the same as it would be in KMail. However, I cannot see in what way this lowers productivity. When a filter is applied, only those items that are selected *and* visible are affected by tagging, deletion etc.

Works as expected since 4.1
