Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux I am not sure how far I got in the payment, I think I didn't get anywhere at all. The URL kept changing to a long one and then a short one, back and forth, but I never got anywhere, nothing was displayed in the browser window. I think this is to do with JavaScript, whether a bug in eBay or in Konqueror. Version: KDE 3.5.5 on FC5 I am using the adblock filters imported from Firefox. I haven't tried to reproduce it, for once you click on Buy you commit yourself to buy the product.
No problems using ebay here. You'll need to investigate further to determine what is going on for you.
------- Additional Comment #1 From Ivor Hewitt 2006-11-23 02:58 ------- No problems using ebay here. You'll need to investigate further to determine what is going on for you. Hello, I'm new to this particular Linux (MEPIS) and use of Konqueror... see next. Konqueror Ver. 3.4.3 OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.15-1-586tsc Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu Within the first day of loading it onto my newly formatted drive, I began to constantly get the KHTML freeze messages with eBay. Regarding your response stated above... did you actually select an eBay item or product and complete the BUY proccess to confirm your findings? Thanks very much, audiosuite@cox.net
This problem is from KDE 3.x, which is unmaintained. If you can reproduce with current KDE (>= 4.6.4), please reopen.
