Version: 3.5.5 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux Sometimes people ask for a link to a website, so I'll search google for the link. I often find myself copying URLs from the addressbar, closing konqueror and then pasting the link to the people after (since I didn't need konqueror anymore). Another time is when I am uploading images and then close the browser and paste images afterwards. However, as soon as I close the browser it seems a different URL is placed into my clipboard. To reproduce: Go to http://imageshack.us Upload an image Copy the link (I use direct link) Close the browser [this step alters link] Try pasting the link -- if you closed the browser it will be http://load.imageshack.us . If you didn't close the browser, it will be the correct direct link to the image. I am unsure how http://load.imageshack.us makes its way into the clipboard when I close the window. Although, because of this, I have been forced to either: paste before closing window, search history for http://img.* or look in Klipper history. Note: I haven't found anyone else that this reproduces for. This only happens in konqueror.
works for me with KDE 4.6.3
