Version: 1.4.4 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux When I play a .au or NeXT .snd file (which is the same thing) the timing slider doesn't work. It's just stuck at the beginning.
Do these files have a header?
Yes, they do have a header. It is described here (the second link has the details): http://www.cnpbagwell.com/AudioFormats-1.txt http://www.cnpbagwell.com/AudioFormats-2.txt Note that there is a different kind of file, a Mac .snd file which is similar but headerless. - Mitch Golden On Wed, 3 Jan 2007, Sergey Svishchev wrote: [bugs.kde.org quoted mail]
comment from KDE bugsquad member I can reproduce this bug in both 1.4.9.1 and Amarok 2 r820602. As Amarok 1.4.x is currently in bugfix-only mode and only bugfixes with a low risk of regression are going to be backported this is not likely to be fixed in 1.4.x but rather in Amarok 2 only.
Changing severity to make it show up in our filter. Isn't this fixed?
I can't reproduce this bug because I have no such file. Also it refers to an old Amarok version that is not maintained anymore. Feel free to open another bug if you can reproduce this with Amarok 2.2, to be released in a few days. You would also have to provide such a file (by mail) to allow us to test it.
