Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: SuSE RPMs It should be configurable, I mean the user should be able to turn this off. I changed the mouse with MMB and as far as I can tell this hardcoded "feature" is a killer for handicapped people. Also for mouses where you have wheel and very sensitive trigger so I consider this report as a bug, not wish, because of this "feature" it is really hard to use Konq.
Since when does clicking the middle mouse button scroll the page? Not here.
Well, it does not scroll per se -- it turns the K.mode to scrolling (you can tell by mouse cursor -- two arrows). Then, moving the mouse scrolls the page.
You can turn it off (but only replace it by some other behaviour): Konqueror Settings -> Web Behaviour -> Select middle option in the Mouse section.
Where? I see only one option for MMB and this is opening selected links. It has nothing to do with scroll. KDE 3.5.5. What version do you use?
Yes, if you enable that, the annoying scroll feature disappears.
Ok :-) But it is solving problem by introducing another one. I would like to turn it off at all since I don't have button really but wheel. Which I would like to use only for scrolling. So, I reopened the report. I rephrase -- please add ability to turn off MMB clicks. Reason: above.
