Description Maciej Pilichowski 2006-10-30 18:38:31 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

And I didn't see it enabled ever. No matter what version of KDE I was using.

press / and search?
Comment 2 Maciej Pilichowski 2006-10-30 20:24:34 UTC
Ok, this works (thanks Maksim). So why it is disabled in menu? Same behaviour in previous KDE versions. I think it is really misleading.
Comment 3 Bram Schoenmakers 2006-10-31 14:48:14 UTC
It is in the menu to make the shortcut / possible at all (and to notify people how to activate).
Comment 4 Maciej Pilichowski 2006-10-31 17:09:26 UTC
It does not make sense. If this function is enabled the menu item should be enabled as well.

Currently it notify people "it does not work / it is not implemented yet".

And why my report is invalid? Ok, closing the report is easier than enabling the item in the menu, but... please, be serious ;-)
Comment 5 Maksim Orlovich 2006-10-31 17:14:50 UTC
I'd agree with you on that -- and one doesn't need things to be in the menu for shortcuts to work. But, uhm, it'd be nice if you actually mentioned the menu when you filed the bug :-)

Sorry for too compressed report. Many reports to fill I guess :-)

Any objections to close this report, it is apparently fixed
