Description atrink 1970-01-01 00:00:00 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kppp
Version: 3.0 (KDE 2.0)
Severity: normal
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release)
OS: Linux 2.2.14 i686 (compiled sources)

I saw this flaw during the last kde2-betas and here with the kde2-final too.
I removed all my .kde and .kde2 directories so I didn't have any initialisation data for kppp.
Then I entered all the information via kppp-configuration. First I let my modem search then
I entered my 2 ISP-accounts. Finally I entered account-name and password and hit connect-buttom.
Nothing happened no modem access after 30 sec I pressed disconnect-button to disconect
and then connect-button again. This time there is a modem access and all goes fine.

This strange behaviour happens only once after complete fresh (no rc-files available) initialisation.

Is this still a valid report? Nobody reported this for over 2 years.
