Version:           1.2.4 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from:    Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS:                Linux

Recently when I try to start akregators it just dies.
Console output is:

KCrash: Application 'akregator' crashing...
akregator: ERROR: Communication problem with akregator, it probably crashed.

The only things I can think of that may have affected it is:
- I have not run it for a few weeks (feed backlog?)
- I have since done many apt-get upgrades so its version may have changed

Some apt-get upgrades later and this bug has gone away.
It now runs (on its own and in kontact).

See also bug 109174, it contains a similar backtrace, but it has been marked as FIXED for two years now. Seems it re-appeared?

I reported this a long time ago, subsequent (debian) dist-upgrade
seemed to have fixed it.
