Description cristian 2006-10-16 17:20:15 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc-4.1.0
OS: Linux

When browsing large directories in konqueror with file sorting by date, when I enter a sub-directory and then I hit the back button it does not go to the previous in-page location.
For example i have a directory with few thousands files and directories, i enter a sub-directory ( on the top of the page ), then i hit the back button and I might see the bottom of the view.
I think the way the previous page internally works is based on the assumption that the files are sorted by name.

Checked this issue with Kubuntu 10.10 (kde 4.6.2), works here. Going to the previous page in filemanager mode does not change the sort order.

Please try again with an up to date kde, thanks.

Works for me, too (KDE 4.6.3)
