Description Maciej Pilichowski 2006-10-16 11:48:17 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

I filled new attachment at SuSE/Novell bugzilla. There is a "widget" (the same as in KDE bugzilla) to enter filename + path. When this edit-box (not the small open-widget) has focus you can activate AK but pressing a letter has effect of typing.
Comment 1 lexual 2006-10-16 12:38:30 UTC
Can confirm this odd behaviour with 3.5.5
Comment 2 Philip Rodrigues 2008-04-21 01:56:52 UTC
Can you provide a testcase for those of use without a suse bugzilla account?
Comment 3 Jure Repinc 2008-04-21 02:43:12 UTC
I can reproduce the bug here in Konqueror 3.5.9 and Konqueror 4 from trunk (kdelibs: 799193, kdebase: 799197).

Testcase

Here is a shorter version of the Bugzilla page. Only with the attachment part.
Steps:
1. Click into File field
2. press Ctrl
3. type any access key letter

Actual result: the letter gets entered into File field.
Expected result: pressing the letter should activate the associated
field/option and not enter letter into File field.

This seems to be fixed in 4.5.4, closing this bug report.
