Version: 1.4.3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.4) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages Compiler: gcc-4.0.3 Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux On the 2005 "Producers" soundtrack, "Springtime for Hitler" is broken into 3 separate tracks (not uncommon on soundtrack albums). In order to play all 3 in dynamic mode, I made a combined copy using "cat". I checked the combined file with ogginfo and alsaplayer: alsaplayer played all 3 logical streams in sequence, showing the track title for each logical stream. However, when I attempted to play this file in Amarok, only the first logical stream played. (I should note that bothe Rhythmbox and Xine also played only the first logical stream, but unlike Amarok, they reported the length of all 3 streams combined.) Also, I should note that editing the tags from within Amarok resulted in a corruption of the 3rd logical stream--not good at all. While I can work around the issue by creating a new combined track from scratch, it has to be a manual process (and I lose things like the MusicBrainz relationships). It would be better if Amarok handled the multiple streams correctly. Note: This may need to be sent on to the Xine team as well, since I'm using the Xine engine.
I am sorry but this will not get fixed in Amarok 1.4 as we are focused on Amarok 2 now. Thank you for your report.
