Description Aaron Williams 2006-10-06 20:34:55 UTC
Version: 3.5.4 (using KDE 3.5.4 "release 78.1" , openSUSE )
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.13-15.8-athlon-preempt

When going through the Kelly Blue Book web site it renders the page incorrectly and does not allow me to select any of the links, which use Javascript.

http://www.kbb.com/kbb/UsedCars/1991_Ford_Probe_Coupe_Private Party.aspx

Note that I filter out doubleclick.net, but this page renders fine and works fine with Firefox 1.5.0.7.

I will attach an archive of the page.

Archive of web page causing problem

Archive of web page that causes problems.

Note to reach it from the KBB home page, I selected used car, coup, Ford,
Probe, 1991, Private Party Value, then any of the trim options, which fail.
The page also appears to be incorrectly rendered. ad.doubleclick.net is
blocked both in the filters and at the firewall.

On KDE 3.5.9, the link cannot be loaded. I've tried to follow the comment 1, after selecting "coupe" the website is rendered very bad. I cannot continue the test on.

Using KDE 4 (trunk) the situation is a bit better, anyway there are still a lot of rendering problems.

The page this report refers to i no longer available. Quickly tested http://www.kbb.com/kbb/UsedCars/ (using kde 4.11.4) and it seems correcly rendered, closing.
