Description Maciej Pilichowski 2006-09-28 20:46:38 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

I went to
http://www.lexmark.com/publications/pdfs/print_drivers/en/ug.pdf
with poor connection. I chose save-as and even I get normal download dialog with progress bar, cancel button, Konqueror was unoperational while downloading (again) pdf.

It is ok to save-as pdf via context-menu, it is ok to view pdf, however it is not ok to save pdf from embedded kpdf.

@Maciej: do you mean when a PDF is embedded into a HTML file right?
In such case this is a dup of bug #99707.
Comment 2 Maciej Pilichowski 2008-06-01 20:57:21 UTC
Not into html, but into konq, but this is a duplicate (you you mark it as one) of the report you pointed out (thank you).

But anyway, for KDE 3.5.9 both reports are FIXED. It is possible to save pdf file after viewing it in Konqueror.

I was too fast :-) My problem is fixed, but I read the other report more carefully and the problem is still there (problem with frames).

Anyway, this one is a duplicate for sure.
