I cant create 1 folder or delete 1 archive and then i have that restart my pc. Why do you think this is a bug in konqueror and not (say) amule?
Because i hadnt had it before using the same version of amule 2.0.3, using kde 3.5.1 and suse 10.1. Beside when the bug appear, i cant change the konqueror privileges, or i cant but it doesnt work. I close the amule and its the same i cant change the permission of the folders, but in the / drive i can work fine. I dont know why i have this bug and i guess that its a problem of konqueror because i would must can change the permissions of these folders. Thanks Philip for answer me
I guess that i have found why the bug appears, i had open the port of the amule the 4662 and the 4672 because the amule go very slow and with the ports open it goes very fast. But the bug appears had the ports open, i dont know if it will be 1 security bug of kde 3.5.4, 1 bug of amule or konqueror or what, but it does that konqueror change the permissions of my hard disk where amule download my archives. Saludos jose
Do you still see this problem in KDE 3.5.6?
@Philip: Jose didn't answer since 16 monhts.. probably he doesn't have this problem anymore. I remember that amule had some problem with settings permission a couple of year ago... probably this report is about that. Bug closed, reasons: - No answer from reporter since 16 months - I've recently used amule with KDE without any permission problem - I know a lot of people which use it with KDE and with no permission problems.
