Description Sunil Khiatani 2006-09-12 19:45:28 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Irix

on the World of Warcraft talents page (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/bc-rogue/talents.html) to learn a spell or skill I can left click on the image to learn it, and right click to unlearn, please see the page for an example. This works fine in both IE and Firefox/Mozilla but it doesn't work in Konqueror. Only the context menu shows up in Konqui, in FF the skill is unlearnt and the context menu pops up.
Comment 1 lexual 2006-10-27 04:18:56 UTC
can confirm the different behaviour. Not sure if site or konqueror issue.
Comment 2 Sunil Khiatani 2006-12-10 05:46:28 UTC
well I tried it on the latest versions of konqueror, i still can't right click on a talent to unlearn it in konqi, but it works fine in firefox.
Comment 3 Martin Fitzpatrick 2007-01-12 22:28:25 UTC
Confirmed bug on KDE 3.5.5 / Kubuntu 6.10. Difficult to debug this site to find the source of the problem - non-obvious where click handling is being done.

Hover of talent and pop-up+left click to learn works

When you hover over a talent the pop-up window appears and a left click on the
talent increments the talent by 1.

Right-click displays konq pop-up

When you right-click a talent, instead of unlearning the talent a konq pop-up
window appears.

Testcase url moved to:
http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/rogue/talents.html

Bug still present in KDE4.0.3/Kubuntu. Notice also the borked animated World in the WoW banner top of page.
Comment 8 Frank Reininghaus 2008-04-20 22:13:05 UTC
I can confirm the bug and the incorrect rendering of the animated world (see comment #7) in SVN trunk rev. 798811. Moreover, the top of "Rogue Talents" is cut off, I'll attach a screenshot showing this.

The rendering of the page is OK in Konqueror 3.5.8 and Firefox 2.0.0.13.

Comment 10 Allan Sandfeld 2008-05-07 15:50:04 UTC
I am assuming it is using the oncontextmenu eventhandler, we don't support that event. I think the code could easily be merged from WebKit, but it violates the browser interface by overriding the default contextmenu.

Just found this while reporting a completely different issue, but the bug headline intrigued me :p

Confirmed for 4.1.2

Shouldn't this be renamed to 'Javascript can't see right-click' or something, though?
