Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.3) Installed from: FreeBSD Ports OS: FreeBSD If you create a standard input field with a submit button, both of them have a different height :( You need to apply separate CSS formating so that they have the same height. To try, copy/paste this into an HTML file: <form> <input type="text" /><input type="submit" value="Send" /> </form> These 2 input fields don't have the same height.
Created attachment 19217 [details] Test case as provided in bug description. Confirm this behaviour on KDE 3.5.5 / Kubuntu 6.10. Difference in height appears to be 3-4 pixels. Cosmetic bug.
Confirming still here in 4.0.3. FF shows a different in form element heights also, although in reverse (button larger than input) although I think that's with FF rendering forms using Qt elements. What is behaviour like on other browsers/other plaforms? Is there a standard approach to form element sizes?
Confirmed in 4.5.4. Assingning this to khtml forms.
