Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: gcc (GCC) 4.1.1 (Gentoo 4.1.1-r1) OS: Linux 1. Go to some webpage that has username/password information stored in the wallet. 2. Give the password, if prompted. 3. A wallet icon appears in the bottom right corner of the Konqueror window. 4. Right-click it, and select "Close Wallet". 5. The icon disappears, but the wallet *stays open*. That's very deceiving, and I think it's a big problem. If Konqueror offers to close the wallet, then it has to do it when asked.
Still happens in KDE 3.5.6.
Confirmed in 3.5.9 and KDE 4.1 (beta from trunk)
Message from the Bugsquad and Konqueror teams: This bug is closed as outdated, as we do not have the manpower to maintain the KDE3 version anymore. If you still can reproduce this issue with Konqueror 4.8.4 or later, please open a new report. Thank you for your understanding.
